| I am 60 years old and a German Custom Agent. I was for 20 years responsible for the training of custom dogs within the German Custom Agency. I managed two K-9 units with up to 40 dogs in the custom department of Singen and Konstance. My biggest success of this time was winning the German Championship for service dog handlers three times with three different dog teams. During this time, I was also instructor for 30 classes at the custom dog school in Neudettelsau.
In the private dog sport, I am a member of the SV since 1966. Because of my professional work, I became a teaching helper in the region Baden and became a SV working judge in the year of 1974.
Surely my biggest success was in 1988 when I became with my dog “Alf vom Foersterhaus” European Champion at the FCI European Championship in Dornbirn, Austria.
Since 1984 to present I am the regional training director for the region Baden and responsible for 134 local clubs.
I have been a breeder for about 35 years and breed 75 litters under my kennel name “vom Koerbelbach”.
In 1988, I formed with some SV friends the SV- OG Tengen and this local club organized twice-international championships, each time with approximately 450 participating dogs. Since 1994, I am the president of this club.
I have served as a judge within the area of service dogs and in the SV area I have been a judge at regional, national and world championship level.
